Why soft wash

Every two to three years for most Northland homes, and yearly on lake homes or houses with a heavily shaded side. Once the algae is killed, it takes a while to come back.

No. The pressure is about what a garden hose puts out. The damage people see from washing comes from pressure washers used on siding, which we do not do.

Cedar responds beautifully to a soft wash. The gray film comes off and the wood color comes back without furring the grain, which is what high pressure does to it.

Two to four hours for most homes. Larger homes and cabins with a lot of shade can take a bit longer. We text when we are done, with photos.
