Two things earn the most calls: polybutylene supply pipe, which was common in Georgia builds from the late 70s through the mid 90s and fails without much warning, and original water heaters or their aging replacements. If your home still has poly pipe, a repipe quote costs nothing and beats discovering the problem through drywall damage.
Parts of Cobb County run strong street pressure, and homes are supposed to have a pressure reducing valve (PRV) taming it.
